Become a Peer Educator! Attend a Weekend Training Session!

As a Peer Educator you will present to groups, organizations, classes, departments, etc. on-campus about health and wellness topics including Stress Relief, Healthy Relationships, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Nutrition, Consent, Bystander Intervention, and Many More. Peer Educators gain communication, leadership, public speaking, teamwork, and presentation skills to take with them into whatever career they choose. Upon completion of the 2-day training, Peer Educators have the opportunity to assist in creating presentations, developing scripts, and presenting and attending national and regional peer education related conferences with the Wellness Connection.

No experience required, all majors welcome. Must attend both days to become certified.

Date: Saturday, October 5th, 12pm-6pm AND Sunday, October 6th, 12pm-6pm

Cost: Free for all BGSU Students

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has built their website around the Standards of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) 5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).  The website was built in compliance with the accessibility standards established by section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and detailed in section 1194.22 of the Code of Federal Regulations, “Web-based intranet and internet information and applications” (https://www.section508.gov/).
