About this Event
1411 Ridge St Bowling Green, OH 43403
http://www.bgsu.edu/recwell/aquatics/learn-to-swim.htmlBowling Green State University offers swim lessons for all people, age six months through adult and all skill levels from beginning to advanced, taught by fully certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.
The lesson types offered are Small Group (5 - 10), Semi-Private (2 – 3), and Private (one on one). Small Group courses are based on a logical, progression that helps swimmers of varying ages and abilities develop their water safety, survival, and swim skills. To allow for physical distancing with instructors, and to ensure children are supported when needed and following guidelines, one parent/guardian is required to be in the water with students for Parent/Child, Preschool 1 & 2, and Level 1 & 2 classes.
Semi-Private and Private lessons are offered to ages 3 and up, to those who prefer a more individualized approach. Private lessons offer one-on-one, specialized instruction, while semi-private lessons include a group of 2 or 3 students of similar swimming levels and abilities from the same household.
Register for small group lessons at the Student Recreation Center Welcome Desk or request private and semi-private lessons online at bgsu.edu/recwell/aquatics/learn-to-swim.
