In this seminar hosted by the Center for Women and Gender Equity, Arnold examines the influence of fraternity and sorority membership on gender identity development. Specifically, she explores how fraternity and sorority members perform gender, how members make meaning of their perceptions of and experiences with cultural gender norms, and how fraternities and sororities both reinforce and challenge traditional conceptions of gender.
