Self-defense Workshop

Wednesday, September 4 at 6:30pm to 8:30pm

St. Thomas More

During this time we will teach you some basic techniques that will help you if you ever get into a dangerous situation. two-thirds of the workshop will focus on wrist releases, how to get out of a bear hug, and how to stay aware of your surroundings and helping you stay safe. the last part of the class will focus on hitting the pads with kicks and punches and other techniques you can use to protect yourself if needed.

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has built their website around the Standards of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) 5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).  The website was built in compliance with the accessibility standards established by section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and detailed in section 1194.22 of the Code of Federal Regulations, “Web-based intranet and internet information and applications” (https://www.section508.gov/).
