Each academic year, the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) works with Faculty Associates and campus partners to develop and deliver innovative and timely Communities of Practice. CFE Communities of Practice include book clubs, writing groups, podcast listening clubs, learning communities, and other semester- and year-long learning opportunities.  

During the Spring 2024 semester, the CFE will be offering 7 different Communities of Practice, including:

• Creating Culturally and Socially Responsible Assessments in the University Classroom Learning Community
• Delving into the "Science of Reading" Community of Practice
• How Learning Works Book Club
• Service-Learning Community of Practice
• Student Engagement & Motivation Learning Community
• Teaching & Learning with AI Community of Practice
• Using Data to Support Equity & Student Success Learning Community

During this session, you can: 

• Learn about Communities of Practice being offered this semester. 
• Understand what is expected of the Community of Practice participants. 
• Ask any questions you may have for the facilitators of the Communities of Practice. 
• Find out how you can sign up for a Community of Practice.
