Strategies for Working with International and Multilingual Students in the Classroom Setting

Ana Kryzhanivska from the ESOL Program and Marcia Salazar-Valentine and Maite Hall from International Programs and Partnerships are hosting an interactive gamified workshop: "Strategies for Working with International and Multilingual Students in the Classroom Setting."

This interactive 90-minute workshop will challenge your perception of working with international and multilingual students. Drawing from theory, practice, and their personal experience, the participants will learn about the strategies for multilingual students’ success in the classrooms. In addition, participants will leave with resources for further exploration of the topic.

The workshop is offered on February 14, 2020 through the BGSU Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) and is counted toward the completion of the BGSU Teaching and Learning Certificate Program in the categories Expectations, Support, Engagement, and Inclusive Pedagogy.
