The April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse will stretch across North America, with the path of totality crossing Mexico, the USA, and Canada. Eclipse-watching has a rich cultural and scientific history that stretches back thousands of years to many pre-contact North American cultures and continues to inspire imaginations to the present day.
Join us for an evening of discussion with scholars from archaeology, astronomy, and the history of science about the many ways people experience the night sky – past and present.
