About this Event
Bowen-Thompson Student Union 1001 E Wooster St , Bowling Green, OH 43402
The Title IX Summit is an opportunity for professionals in Ohio, Michigan and neighboring states to share Title IX resources, trends and best practices. This year's event marks 50 years of the Title IX Education Amendments of 1972. The landmark federal law signed into law on June 23, 1972, prohibits gender discrimination in educational programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.
The summit will be a great opportunity to receive support and guidance from others with Title IX response and coordination responsibilities.
Hosted by the Division of Diversity and Belonging, Office of the Dean of Students, Office of Human Resources, Office of Housing and Residents Life, BGSU Athletics and the University of Toledo.
