Translation Workshop: Rachel Hadas

The Department of World Languages and Cultures presents the first of its World of Translation Speaker Series.  Dr. Rachel Hadas, Board of Governors Professor of English at Rutgers University-Newark, is the inaugural guest for this series.

She will present a Translation Workshop, open to 20 participants, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 in 316 Bowen-Thompson Student Union. To register, email Dr. Philip Peek, chair of the Department of World Languages and Cultures, peekps@bgsu.edu. Later that evening, Hadas will present a reading.

A public presentation is at 7 p.m. in 111 Olscamp Hall.

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has built their website around the Standards of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) 5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).  The website was built in compliance with the accessibility standards established by section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and detailed in section 1194.22 of the Code of Federal Regulations, “Web-based intranet and internet information and applications” (https://www.section508.gov/).
