 es of power\, privilege\, diversity\, and inclusion. This year\, the Offic
 e of Residence Life focuses on Immigration: The Struggle to (Legally) Belo
 ng.\n\nThis immersive exhibition is designed to increase awareness and edu
 cation literacy of our differences in a format that combines both active a
 nd passive learning elements. Most importantly\, Tunnel is designed to mak
 e you THINK—about the privileges and power one has or does not have\, th
 e privileges others do or do not have and what you can do about it.\n\nMor
 e about Tunnel of Oppression:\n\nAt BGSU\, our goal is to encourage studen
 ts to think critically about issues of diversity\, power\, privilege and s
 ocial justice. We want students to look at the world through others’ len
 ses\, attempt to understand their perspectives and help us in building “
 an inclusive\, safe and respectful community”* for all members of the BG
 SU Community. By encouraging “an awareness of diverse thoughts\, ideas a
 nd experiences on our campus in which our community members are empowered 
 to use their voices and be heard”*\, we are better preparing our student
 s for their roles in their future communities for generations to come.\n\n
