Wear Teal Day is an annual event that takes place on the first Tuesday of April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). In 2025, Wear Teal Day will be on April 1st. The day aims to raise awareness and prevent sexual violence, harassment, and abuse through education. Wearing teal, the color of sexual violence prevention, is a way to show support for survivors and embrace your voice for change. You can wear teal clothing, nail polish, socks, ties, hats, scarves, and more. Tag @cwge_bgsu on Instagram to share your Wear Teal Day photos.

To individuals with disabilities, please indicate if you need additional services, assistance, or modifications to fully participate in this event either by contacting the CWGE or Accessibility Services at access@bgsu.edu or 419-372-8495. Please notify Accessibility Services prior to the event.

If you have any questions, please contact the Center for Women and Gender Equity (CWGE) office at cwge@bgsu.edu

CONTENT WARNING: This event will share the stories of those who have been impacted by violence. Please be aware of your own well-being and take time to process.
