Description & Learning Outcomes: 

Join members of the University Libraries Scholarly Communication and Open Educational Resources (SCOER) team to learn more about how the library supports your open publishing. Topics include adopting OER to replace high-cost commercial course materials, applying for library-sponsored OER grants, participating in OhioLINK open access publishing agreements at no cost to you, and promoting your publications using ScholarWorks, the university’s open access publishing platform. 

In this session, you will: 

• Understand the various open access publishing options available to you as a BGSU author, including OhioLINK open access agreements.  
• Identify the ways the library can assist you as you find, use, and create open educational resources (OER)
