This annual event brings women of color activist-scholars to BGSU to discuss the contributions women of color have made to leadership, activism, and advocacy in their communities and more broadly. A panel discussion open to students, faculty, staff, and community members allows speakers to share insights on their own achievements, obstacles, and the steps they have taken to become leaders in their communities. After the panel, speakers lead smaller discussion groups to allow for participants to make additional connections, identify potential mentors, and determine how they can take the next step in their own leadership path.
