Antigone confronts the authorities – the police, the judicial and penal systems, and the father of her friend, Haemon – in her quest for justice for her imprisoned brother. Antigone is a French language film, shown with English subtitles.  This film is part of the International Film Series, organized by the Department of World Languages and Cultures.  Students interested in global issues, film and/or Canadian society are welcome to drop in for a brunch in the Global Village (McDonald Hall) on Thursday, March 19, 9-10:30 a.m.  Questions? Please contact Dr. Guenther, International Studies Director (bguenth@bgu.edu) or Dr. Bhalla, Global Village Director (vibhab@bgsu.edu)
