"Ice" to Meet You

As the sun goes down, chill out at the McDonald Hall Lawn with free snow cones, music and yard games. Convocation is the official academic welcome for new students to the University. It celebrates the importance of academic excellence, innovation, integrity and discovery—all of the things that make up the ultimate university experience. Featured presenters, such as BGSU President Dr. Rodney K. Rogers and other academic and student leaders, will share their insights to empower you to explore and appreciate the values of belonging at BGSU. Dueling Pianos

The Oaks, Social House

Head to the Oaks for dinner and a show! This interactive musical comedy experience will have you singing, shouting, dancing and laughing. The audience will control the direction of the show by writing their favorite songs on request slips that they bring to the pianos. Energetic and exciting entertainers then perform these songs, while encouraging audience participation. The fact that many of your favorite rock, r&b and rap songs can be performed on the piano will leave you amazed.  Cost to participate: No pre-sale tickets will be sold. Simply head to the Oaks for dinner, and the show is included with the price of your meal. There will be an entry cost at the door: ​​​$16 for credit/debit (we are cashless) or one meal swipe per person upon entry. ---------------------------------------- Falcon Family Weekend Oct. 17-19 | This event is part of Falcon Family Weekend, an annual tradition for parents, family members, and supporters to visit, create memories, participate in events, and explore campus and the local community.

Welcome to the F.O.L.D., (Falcons of the Last Decade), a special alumni community celebrating and staying connected with our recent graduates. We hope you can join us for this champagne toast in celebration of YOU and all you have accomplished during your time as a BGSU student. But the journey doesn’t stop here!  Come and hear what it means to be an alumni and the benefits available to you while enjoying giveaways, time with friends, a little nostalgia, photo opportunities, and of course a champagne toast - on us!
