BGSU Campus ReStore Open

The Campus ReStore will be open for the final time this semester on Friday, December 5th from 9am to 1pm. We offer a variety of gently used goods at no cost to the Campus Community. Clothes of all kinds, household items, office supplies, and more! Bring your own bag and plan accordingly to transport what you take. Everything is free. See our website for full details!   *Note, we are not accessible through the Residence Hall* - Please enter through the long glass hallway across from the Life Sciences Building. We will not be checking BGSU IDs at the door for this event - all are welcome. If you are coming from off-campus, please check parking rules beforehand.

The BGSU Campus ReStore will be open to the BGSU community for ONE DAY ONLY.  Why buy new when you can reuse? Check out BGSU's Campus ReStore and stock up on the essentials without spending a dime! From school supplies and home goods to gently used campus gear, this is your chance to save money, reduce waste and "shop" sustainably. 🛍️ Everything is FREE Grab gently used clothes, books, shoes, bedding/pillows, electronics, holiday décor and more. All items are first-come, first-served. We're helping Falcons save money and keep usable goods out of the landfill. ♻️ Reduce waste. BGSU Campus ReStore helps BGSU support sustainability efforts by repurposing items instead of buying new. Whether you need school supplies or household necessities, you'll find something useful and feel good about being eco-friendly. 🎟️ What to Know Before You Go BGSU ID required for entry Bring your own reusable bag! Limit one reusable bag per person, plus large items that can be carried Fair limit policy will be enforced Shoppers must remove all "purchased" items from the store. No layaways. NO re-entry after leaving Directions: Enter the BGSU Campus reStore through the glass hallway in McDonald Hall, across from the Life Sciences building.   Get involved! For a fun way to earn service hours and be part of the zero-waste movement, sign up to help staff the Campus ReStore Can't make it? No worries! Campus Bike Tour - Group Ride

Explore BGSU on Two Wheels Grab your bike for a guided, hour-long campus bike tour. This event promotes sustainable transportation, healthy habits and environmental awareness, while connecting with the natural and academic sights of Bowling Green State University.  What to Expect Pedal your way through BGSU's scenic campus as we highlight key landmarks and promote bike safety tips along the way. Whether you're a daily cyclist or just getting started, this tour is a fun and informative way to explore campus and practice safe biking. Halfway Break: Water Quality and Exploration At the midway point, we'll stop at the BGSU Cross Country Course, where the Center for Great Lakes and Watershed Studies will speak about water quality, current research and ways we can protect local waterways. You'll also have time to explore the site's natural water features!  What to Bring A working bicycle (required) Water bottle Comfortable attire Curiosity and questions Tour Details Meet at the BGSU Bike Rental Garage, 507 E. Join us for the grand reopening of BGSU's Campus reStore and stock up on the essentials without spending a dime! From school supplies and home goods to gently used campus gear, this is your chance to save money, reduce waste and shop sustainably. 🛍️ Everything is FREE (except mini-fridges and microwaves) Grab notebooks, binders, office organizers, décor and more. All items are first-come, first-served. Thanks to last spring's move-out donations and surplus office supplies, we're helping Falcons save money and keep usable goods out of the landfill. 🧊 Looking for a fridge or microwave? Available for purchase while supplies last: Mini-fridges: $15 (small) or $20 (large) Microwaves: $10 Payment is credit card only and a receipt is required for pick-up. The BGSU Campus ReStore is opening its doors to the general public for a rare, multi-day sale featuring affordable secondhand items from across campus. From clothing and electronics to home goods and office supplies, this event is a great opportunity to shop sustainably, find amazing deals and support green initiatives at BGSU. What You’ll Find Clothing, hats and shoes in all sizes Books, stationery and gift items Twin XL bedding, comforters, linens and pre-washed pillows Home goods, décor, organizers and storage Kitchen items, bathroom caddies and cleaning supplies Office supplies, electronics and hardware Toys, games, arts and crafting materials Beach towels, summer wear and more What to Know Before You Shop Credit/debit card only — no cash accepted Inventory will rotate on Day 2 Bring your own reusable bag Entry and exit through the west side of the building only Fair limit policy will apply to select items All items sold as is — no refunds You must transport all purchases off-site Your purchases support BGSU sustainability efforts and help reduce campus waste.
