Enjoy a larger-than-life LEGO mosaic you can help build, a special performance by the Falcon Marching Band, and of course, a giant birthday cake – because no celebration is complete without one. Gather with us on the quad to sing “Happy Birthday” and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Live Falcon Experience – See these incredible birds up close. Science & Exploration – Visit the herpetology and marine biology labs for interactive experiences. Teaching Kitchen – Learn from BGSU Dining with short cooking demos. Planetarium Shows – Three sessions offering a journey through the stars. Homecoming Tailgate Park

Kick off game day at the BGSU Homecoming Tailgate, the ultimate pregame celebration filled with music, camaraderie and Falcon pride. Alumni, friends and families can gather at Tailgate Park to reconnect, relax and get ready for an exciting afternoon of football and Homecoming festivities. Event Highlights Alumni Tents – Enjoy a welcoming space designed for connection and conversation with fellow Falcons while taking in a prime view of the concert. College Tents – Revisit your academic home, reconnect with faculty and network with fellow graduates. Many tents offer exclusive giveaways and incentives. Live Concert – BGSU Athletics and the Homecoming Committee will present an exciting concert featuring an artist chosen to engage multiple generations of Falcons. Family-Friendly Fun – Enjoy activities designed for all ages, making this a tailgate everyone can enjoy.

BGSU Football vs. Liberty

Following our tailgating fun, get ready for an action-packed evening at The Doyt as the Falcons take on the Liberty Flames. From a high-energy halftime show to a fireworks finale, this game is more than just football – it’s a Homecoming tradition Event Highlights Halftime Show – Enjoy a special performance of the Falcon Marching Band curated by Jon Waters to celebrate Freddie Falcon’s birthday. Homecoming Court Presentation – Meet this year’s Homecoming Court during the break between the third and fourth quarters. Fireworks Show – Cap off the night with a spectacular 10-minute fireworks display after the game.
