<p>The Black Issues Conference is a catalyst in the educational process, offering a forum for the exploration, enrichment, and issues impacting our communities.</p>
<p><i>This year marks the landmark 25th conference.</i></p>

<p>Highlights for this year’s conference include:</p>

<li>The theme for this year's event is Reviving, Renewing, Rebuilding, and will feature humanitarian and entrepreneur Hill Harper as the keynote speaker.</li>
<li>Celebrating 100 years of the life and legacy of BGSU writer-in-residence and Distinguished Visiting Professor of Ethnic Studies James Baldwin</li>
<li>Spotlight panels featuring prominent alumni, faculty, faculty emeriti, and community members</li>
<li>Post-conference reception featuring a concert by world-renowned musicians</li>
</ul>
