The Slater Family Ice Arena offers ice-skating recreation, intercollegiate hockey competition, curling matches and physical education activities. The main ice, multi-purpose ice and lounge may be rented for social events and wedding receptions. Public skates are offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the Newlove Pro Shop provides skate rental, skate sharpening and skating accessories rental.

Ice skating during family weekend was a perfect day way to spend time with our daughter- very fun, social activity. Plus is was great to walk around the rink and read about the history of the BGSU hockey teams and how so many former BG players have made it into the NHL. Will be back again for sure!
