2024 Women's History Month

Women’s History Month began as a national celebration as Women’s History Week in 1981. In 1987, Congress designated March as Women’s History Month. This year’s theme, established by the National Women’s History Alliance, is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion” and is a recognition of those who have changed and continue to change the ways in which we must seek justice. Join us in celebrating those individuals and unsung activists and advocates who continue to build community and work to eradicate biases and discrimination. As the great Audre Lorde said, “It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept and celebrate those differences.”
