Women's History Month: Intersections, Margins and Centers

WOMXN'S HISTORY MONTH
BGSU invites you to participate in Womxn’s History Month. This year’s theme Womxn: Intersections, Margins, and Centers, focuses on the expansive expression of womxnhood, celebrates the contributions of womxn, and calls us to action for a more gender-equitable world. During the month of March, you will experience a variety of perspectives, stories, and truth-telling from partners across the BG and Firelands campuses.

Did You Know? The use of the letter ‘x’ in certain words like ‘womxn’ began when Intersectional feminists used the term "womxn" as a reclamation in that it does not include the words "man" or "men" and because it is more inclusive to womxn-identifying people, and centers trans womxn and womxn of color.
