Welcome to Fall 2022 | Your Home Away from Home

Aug. 16-Oct. 2

Weeks of Welcome is a campus-wide series of events designed to welcome you and the campus community to the new school year. The calendar of events spans through Oct. 2 and includes fun, engaging ways for you to meet with new friends and create meaningful connections at BGSU.

Aug. 16-18 | New Student Move-in –If you are a residential student, there will be events and activities hosted for you to connect with your neighbors each night after move-in and the following days.

Aug. 18-20 | New Student Required Programming – There will be a series of required programming and optional events for residential and commuter students designed to help you connect with new friends and the campus community.

Aug. 20-21 | Returning Student Move-in

Aug. 20-Oct. 2 – All students are invited to join their Falcon friends through a series of can’t-miss events and programs.

New Student Orientation

New and transfer students are required to go through orientation virtually or in person before the first day of class. There is also a series of required online modules that must be completed.
